Devconnect, the week-long gathering of the Ethereum ecosystem and community, concluded its second edition in Istanbul.
NBA JR League
The National Basketball Association (NBA) is a Professional basketball league in North America. The league is composed of 30 teams (29 in the United States and 1 in Canada) and it is the premier men's professional basketball league in the world.
Jr. NBA leagues encourage children to participate in basketball through a positive first experience of the sport, typically for children aged 9-14, each league is run with an operating partner (club or federation).
Challenges
- Assisting NBA to reach out 30 school and club teams, 60 coaches and 450 players per league.
- Hosting 12 former NBA players who represent the Jr. NBA values.
- NBA Junior League Ambassadors throughout the EMEA region will be introduced at a press conference held in Istanbul.
- Maintaining relations between the NBA and Turkish Basketball Federation.
- Simultaneously organizing JR. NBA League event and finals and all meet and great services for NBA talents during the event.
Outcome
- 510 direct participants per league (450 players, 60 coaches) all around Turkey.
- 30,000 indirect participants per league (family or school community)
- 120,000 total reach per league (local or national community)
