g2o was the event organiser for Devconnect 2023, a week-long gathering of the Ethereum ecosystem and community in Istanbul. During the week, more than 70 events were organised in various locations across the city and more than 6,500 participants from different backgrounds came together at Devconnect Cowork at the Istanbul Congress Centre. As the chosen event organizer by the Ethereum Foundation, we meticulously managed production, design, catering, and the construction of a 10,000 square meter Cowork Space, fostering collaboration among developers, founders, researchers, marketers, and designers. We coordinated more than 50 catering events and delivered more than 30,000 meals to participants. With purposefully designed spaces for networking, knowledge-sharing sessions, and a diverse array of participants, Devconnect Istanbul 2023 facilitated meaningful interactions and yielded valuable insights. All the spaces were carefully designed to create an unforgettable experience for attendees from all over the world. We aimed to reflect our country's culture in a new generation perspective.
