Gobeklitepe, found by Klaus Schmidt, is in National Geographic's essential and sustainable sites to see in 2020. It is in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2018 and the year of 2019 was declared as The Year of Gobeklitepe. The site is drawing travelers from all around the World.
Gobeklitepe, the world's oldest temple, is now the center of the Netflix series "The Gift" (Atiye) Video streaming company Netflix's second Turkish original series is launched worldwide on Dec. 27.
There's no discovery about Gobeklitepe in written yet so how its built before even pyramids is unknown, so the mystery is unclear, but the site is open for visitors. There is Archaeology and Mosaic Museum to see a replica of the temple and artifacts from the side in Sanliurfa.
